Statistics: Russian restaurants revenue falls by 3.4% in March

MOSCOW, May 8 (PRIME) -- The revenue of the Russian restaurant and catering industry contracted by 3.4% on the year and fell 3.4% on the month to 126 billion rubles in comparable prices in March, falling for the first time since April 2017, the Federal State Statistics Service reported late on Thursday.

In January–March, revenue rose by 3% to 390.2 billion rubles.

The service also adjusted its growth estimate for the 2019 revenue of the restaurant industry to 5.5% from 4.9%.  For January 2020 it was reduced to 6.2% from 6.5%, for February it was flat at 6.6%, while revenue was slightly adjusted.
